Care of cut flowers:

  • Remove all packaging and trim the stems by 2-3cm, making a diagonal cut with a sharp knife or secateurs.
  • Remove any leaves that will be below the waterline.
  • Place the flowers in a vase containing clean lukewarm water mixed with the sachet of flower food provided, following the guidelines on the reverse of the sachet. Do not use metal containers as they neutralise the effects of flower food.
  • Display the flowers in a cool, light location away from draughts, direct heat, sunshine or fresh fruit.
Keep the vase water level topped up as necessary.
  • To refresh flowers after 4-5 days, remove any drooping flowers or foliage, re-cut stems by 1-2cm and replace in fresh lukewarm water.

  • Lily pollen can stain clothing, furniture etc. In case of contact leave to dry, then brush off. Do not use water
  • Water the plants a little and often over a sink and allow to drain. Mist daily.
  • Do not allow the compost or oasis to dry out completely or become waterlogged.
  • Treat planted baskets with plant food weekly.
