within 48 hours, by the next day if you order before 1pm , or on a day of your choice. Work during the week?

Homebase Delivery times are usually Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 7.00am - 6pm. You may also be
given a choice of times, e.g. AM (7.00am - 1pm) or PM (12am - 6 pm). Saturday deliveries are usually made between
7.00am - 3pm.

The exact delivery dates available for your order will depend on the delivery address and time you place the
order. You will be shown a list of available delivery dates to pick from during the checkout process, after you
have entered your delivery address
Special delivery instructions
A signature is normally required for delivery but if you can’t be in and your order qualifies, you may be able to
provide special delivery instructions during the checkout process. We’ll let you know if your order
qualifies when we confirm stock and delivery dates.
If you order qualifies, Homebase do our best to fulfil your instructions, provided we can leave the item(s) in a
safe place that is accessible from the delivery address and easy to find (e.g. leave in garage, leave in shed in
back garden, etc.) Remember that our drivers aren’t familiar with your house or neighbourhood so be as
specific as you can.
If your order doesn’t qualify and you can’t be present to sign for delivery , remember that you can specify a
different delivery address while ordering and have your order delivered to your workplace, a neighbour’s,
etc.
Bigger items
Bigger items needing two delivery men take longer. They’re normally identified as deliverable within seven days
or more on the Homebase website.

Homebase do our best to get your shopping to you within the times shown above, but it can depend on where you
live and what's in stock. Please see individual product information pages for up-to-date delivery lead times on
specific items.
For all of the above, the delivery dates available for your order will depend on your order details:
- If all of your items are in stock at our distribution centre, you will be shown a list of available
delivery dates to pick from during the checkout process, after you have entered your delivery address.
- If some items have to be ordered in for you or are delivered by a third party, a customer service agent
will contact you to arrange delivery as soon as the goods are ready to be dispatched.
Most deliveries are made in the morning (between 7am and 12pm) or afternoon (between noon and 6pm), or
midday (10am - 2pm) although some products may vary depending on the product. As soon as your goods are ready to
be dispatched, a customer services agent will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. Please note that
all large items will require a signature for delivery.
Most large items will be delivered to the room of your choice†. See 'additional information' section below for
details.Don't forget to measure doorways, hallways and staircases prior to delivery to make sure your products
will fit.
Please note that if your order is made up of a combination of items/delivery services, deliveries may be made
separately.

Don't forget it's only £4.95 per order, not per item so if you've got a lot to get, it's a good idea to order it all

Once you've found what you're looking for on our website, just add it all to your trolley, select home delivery and
go through the checkout process. It's as simple as that - all Homebase need from you is a delivery address, a
postcode and your payment details. |
An estimated delivery lead time is shown next to each product on this website. Homebase update this daily to
reflect the latest stock situation. Please see individual product information pages for detailed delivery lead
times on specific items. In all cases, delivery lead times will be confirmed once you've added the items to your
trolley and entered your delivery postcode.
Delivery times quoted above can vary depending on stock availability and delivery location. Most items are
dispatched to you from our regional distribution centres but some larger items are dispatched directly from our
suppliers, which will also affect delivery times and conditions. Please see individual product information pages
for detailed delivery lead times on specific items. In all cases, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable
delivery date as soon as stock is ready to be dispatched, unless a delivery date can be selected at the time of
order.
Orders placed on this website can only be delivered to mainland UK and Northern Ireland addresses. We regret that
we cannot deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, or
the Republic of Ireland.
know that unexpected things happen and there might be an instance when you can't be at home to receive
your delivery. If so, don’t worry. Just call us at least three days before the agreed delivery date and we'll
arrange another convenient date with you.
We reserve the right to restrict these services at any time. We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery
times in exceptional circumstances. All delivery times quoted are subject to stock availability and delivery
location.

Delivery and connection service
Service available on selected kitchen appliances (these include 'Inc Del/Conn' in the product
name) and subject to stock availability and delivery location.
Includes connection of new appliance to suitable existing services, one metre or less from the
appliance (this will not include remedial plumbing or electrical work). Before installation, you
must ensure your old item is disconnected.
e'll take away all packaging, if requested at time of delivery. You can also arrange for
collection of your old appliance so we can dispose of it safely (see Take Back Service below for
details). Please note that Take Back must be purchased at the time you place your order and we’ll
only remove the old appliance if it has been disconnected. If you’re purchasing a Hotpoint
Connect and Collect appliance, a Take Back service is already included within the price of the
item. Standard delivery for Hotpoint product does not include Take Back which can be purchased
separately.
Installation of cookers is on a like for like basis (i.e. electric for electric, gas for gas).
For electric cookers: Installation can only take place if your old appliance has already
been disconnected. Our qualified driver can install your new cooker to a suitable existing
connection point within 1 metre. For gas/dual fuel cookers: A qualified gas engineer will
disconnect your old appliance. Your new appliance will then be delivered, for a gas engineer to
connect the appliance to suitable existing connection points.
Please note that delivery & connection costs are included in the
price shown on the website for delivery & connection products (these include 'Inc
Del/Conn' in the product name):
- washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers - £24.50
- refrigeration, tumble dryers and condenser dryers - £17.50
- cookers - £75 gas and dual fuel, £64.50 electric
If your order includes a combination of Delivery and connection items and standard items,
deliveries will be made separately and a delivery charge will be charged on the standard
item(s).
* 48-hour, next day and Saturday delivery services are not available
on large and bulky items, large screen TVs, adult bikes and large kitchen appliances.
We'll deliver most large and bulky items to any room, provided drivers do not feel there are any
health and safety issues such as a staircase which is too narrow, or there is a danger of damage
to the customer's property.
